An extra layer of tarnish resistance(We called it E-coating) is added to extend the life span of the jewelry.
2.ElectroplatingUsually we do 0.1 microns gold plated and E-coating.We can provide thicker plating like 1 microns,1.5 microns, 2 microns, 2.5 microns and so on.But for gold jewelry, we suggest not to touch with water/perfume/sweat more often.
